27.04.2017 – Stavanger Event

Welcome to Irishman in Stavanger on April 27th!

Finger food will be served before the presentations, and this event is of course free to attend.

Doors open at 17:00, the AGM will be conducted starting at 17:30 and presentations for the evening begin at 18:00.  The presentations are:

  • The Challenges of Positioning in the Arctic by John Vint – Fugro
  • Backscatter for Target Detection by Martin Wikmar – Clinton
  • Big Data Opening up the Coast by Al Rumson – Univ.Cranfield

The Annual General Meeting will start at 17:30, and will end before 18:00 when the evening event presentations will start.  The evening presentation programme will be announced shortly, please check back for updates!

New Board Members Wanted!

At the 2017 Annual General Meeting in Stavanger in April, we would like to welcome two new board members to the NOSP committee!  Candidate nominations are appreciated in advance and can be emailed to us at post@nosp.no.

The primary responsibility of board members is to assist in securing interesting speakers for our events in Stavanger, Oslo, and Bergen.  There are also some minor administrative tasks that are divided amongst the members according to interest and skill.
