In-person and Online Event – Live from 18:30 (Norwegian Time – UTC+1hr)
Bridging Industry Needs with Freelance Expertise
There is much talk of Artificial Intelligence in offshore operations, autonomy and remote control centres. Any survey subcontractor will tell you there is also a serious under supply of the most important resource: personnel. So, do we go all in to get rid of people and bring the future closer to us, or accept that our most vital resource is and will always be educated and skilled bums on seats? This January we will bring together three freelance agencies to present and debate their role in the supply of survey personnel to offshore operations.
As ever at any NOSP event, networking is greatly encouraged. We’re opening the doors at 17:00 and there will be a break of 30 minutes before the last presentation and the start of the debate. We will head downstairs afterwards for more drinks and socialising.
The evening’s timetable will be as follows:
- 17:00 – Doors open
- 18:30 – NOSP Introduction
- 18:35 – Precise Consultants: Mapping your future: careers in hydrographic survey (Peter Thompson – Managing Director)
- 18:55 – Atlas Professionals: Super Survey (Julie Swift & Neil Hogg – Principle Consultants)
- 19:15 – Break
- 19:45 – Level Offshore: Connecting Quality (Kaj-Stian Apeland – Resource Coordinator)
- 20:05 – Debate: Bridging Industry Needs with Freelance Expertise
Light food and drinks will be available for those in attendance so registration here is essential to get the correct quantities ordered. Although just over two hours in duration, the schedule is flexible; the most important thing is that we all enjoy the evening.
For those unable to attend, join us live on YouTube. The presentations will be available from the same link after the evening’s activities are concluded.
