Stuart joined NOSP in 2019 as a board member and took the helm as chairman in 2022. With over 25 years’ experience in offshore and onshore survey, including also various project management roles, and now over 20 years living in Norway, Stuart has a passion to take Survey forwards in this country together with his NOSP colleagues. Stuart is currently Survey & Inspection Manager at DOF Subsea Norway, a role he has had since 2018.

Ricardo, a board member of NOSP since 2021, holds a MSc. degree in Survey Engineering and has been a dedicated professional in the geospatial field since 2007. His career includes working in the Netherlands and Canada before settling in Stavanger, Norway, in 2008. In Stavanger, Ricardo has held both operational and management roles primarily within geospatial companies. In 2021, he launched his own company specializing in geospatial services for the offshore industry.

Derek has worked in a number of roles within hydrographic Survey since graduating with BSc (Hons) from Glasgow University in 1995; Offshore Online Surveyor, Onshore Senior Surveyor, Operations Manager and Project Manager. Derek is currently Lead Project Surveyor with Subsea7 in their Stavanger office and has been a member of the NOSP committee since 2022.

Elizabeth Swann started working offshore in 2007 after obtaining an MSc in Hydrography from the University of Plymouth. Working for a variety of contractors, mainly for Fugro Survey and Subsea 7. She has experience covering construction and survey projects from around the world.
Elizabeth started with Equinor in 2023 providing survey support to variety projects which include O&G and Renewables. Elizabeth is passionate about inspiring the next generation and, although based in Stavanger in the office, she loves nothing more than to be out in the field where the real magic happens.
