NOSP is run on a voluntary basis by an organising committee currently counting 5 members who are elected on an annual basis at the Annual General Meeting.

Stuart joined NOSP in 2019 as a board member and took the helm as chairman in 2022. With over 25 years’ experience in offshore and onshore survey, including also various project management roles, and now over 20 years living in Norway, Stuart has a passion to take Survey forwards in this country together with his NOSP colleagues. Stuart is currently Team Lead for Seabed Mapping and Positioning at Skanska Survey, a role he has had since early 2025.

Ricardo, a board member of NOSP since 2021, holds a MSc. degree in Survey Engineering and has been a dedicated professional in the geospatial field since 2007. His career includes working in the Netherlands and Canada before settling in Stavanger, Norway, in 2008. In Stavanger, Ricardo has held both operational and management roles primarily within geospatial companies. In 2021, he launched his own company specializing in geospatial services for the offshore industry.

Aleksander holds a MSc. in Petroleum Geohysics from NTNU. He worked internationally in the seismic industry for 6 years for Polarcus before he joined Norkyst. The last 4 years he has been working for Aker BP in the Subsea Execution (IMR) and Survey department. Aleksander joined NOSP in September 2025.
